Select a scene from either of Endicott’s novels, follow the contest guidelines, videotape the scene, and submit it on CD. The second place prize is $1500, third place is $750, and the fourth prize is $500. Anyone may enter.

The books’ settings are colonial Canada and colonial New York. The contest runs to October 31, 2012.

BIO: Samuel Endicott served in the U.S. Army as an airborne Ranger and combat engineer officer. He is a former instructor at Fort Leavenworth’s Command and General Staff College and is a 1989 graduate of the Naval War College. After the service he began writing historical fiction set in the colonial America era. In 2011, he entered his novels in a national competition — The Global eBook Awards. His first book took first place in the modern historical fiction category (his second book was a finalist).  Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Endicott earned degrees from the University of Mississippi (BA) and the University of Southern California (MS). He resides in Virginia.
